FINISH AND LIGHT FASTNESS

Engineered Veneer may change colour when exposed to UV light and or daylight at the equivalent degree exposed, as do natural veneers & solid timber.

To minimise the risk of fading or yellowing we recommend the use at all times an approved non yellowing acrylic polyurethane containing uv-absorbing additives (blockers) in each coat applied to minimize the veneer from discolouration due to exposure to light. We do not recommend any other finishing process. If you have any doubts, please consult Slice Veneers for further advice or alternatively access the following additional information.

LIABILITY LIMITS

Our product range is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Any such defects must be reported to us within 30 days of delivery. During this warranty period (30 days) we will replace at our option free of charge the product shown to be defective. Any freight cost associated with a warranty claim will be at the cost of the purchaser. A slight colour or grain variation may occur between different dye batches.

All our samples are polished to a 10% satin finish on one side and a 0% natural finish on the reverse making it easier for the customer to choose which finish they want on their project.
